  • Associates in Family Medicine Scholarship

    Established for students who would like to pursue careers in medicine. Award will go to a student who demonstrates financial need, maintains a GPA of 3.5, and is involved in volunteer activities in the community.

  • Achievement Rewards for College Scientists (ARCS) Scholarships

    The ARCS Foundation is an organization of women dedicated to providing financial support for scholastically high-ranking students enrolled in natural sciences, medicine, and engineering who show potential to make future contributions to our nation.

  • Professor Parviz Azari Fellowship or Award in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

    Established by Dr. Dean and Mrs. Ping-Ping Tsao in honor of Dr. Parviz Azari to enhance student research opportunities in biochemistry and molecular biology research labs. This award or fellowship will go to full-time undergraduate or graduate biochemistry and molecular biology students in good academic standing.

  • Briggs-Kerst Undergraduate Scholarship Fund

    Established by Dr. Fred Kerst and Mrs. Ardith Briggs-Kerst as an expression of their support for the University as well as the value they place on higher education. The Kersts are both graduates of CSU.

  • Dr. Jennifer Dawn Alexander Scholarship

    This scholarship was created by Bruce and Carolyn Edlund as a remembrance of Jennifer's research impact as well as her bright and affable personality. This scholarship will provide support to students majoring in chemistry who have made a significant impact upon, or who hold exceptional promise in, the field of chemistry.

  • Carol L. Baird Memorial Scholarship

    This scholarship was established to honor the memory of Carol Baird who succumbed to leukemia while completing her doctoral studies in experimental psychology. This scholarship continues her enthusiasm for teaching and learning by rewarding outstanding graduate students studying social or experimental psychology.

  • Thomas J. and Eileen Boardman Statistical Consulting Award

    This award was established by Drs. Thomas and Eileen Boardman after Thomas' 39-year career with the Department of Statistics at Colorado State University. Dr. Eileen Boardman is a graduate of Colorado State University in the College of Engineering. Their interest lies in providing support to graduate students enrolled in the Department of Statistics in pursuit of a master's or Ph.D. degree in Statistics.

    Established to encourage contributions from alumni and friends in support of chemistry graduate students.

  • College of Natural Sciences Undergraduate Scholarship

    This fund provides financial assistance to committed and talented students who enroll in an undergraduate program in the College of Natural Sciences.

  • Natt N. Dodge Scholarship

    Awarded to full-time, incoming freshmen majoring in biological sciences, with an interest in conservation and ecology and a desire to work for the U.S. National Park Service or the U.S. Forest Service.

  • Howard E. Emigh Memorial Scholarship

    The scholarship was established as a memorial to Howard by his wife, Dorothy. It is awarded to a freshman who shows promise in the field of mathematics.

  • David E. Fahrney Undergraduate Scholarship in Biochemistry

    The David E. Fahrney Undergraduate Scholarship was created through the generosity of Professor Emeritus David Fahrney. Dr. Fahrney created the first departmental undergraduate scholarship specifically for outstanding biochemistry majors and, thus, ensured that his many contributions to CSU and the department of biochemistry and Molecular Biology will be remembered for years to come.

  • Teresa Fonseca Memorial Award

    This scholarship was established by family, friends, and colleagues of Teresa Fonseca who was a post doctoral research associate in the chemistry department at CSU. Her main study was in theoretical chemistry.

  • Bob Gaines Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Mathematics

    Established to honor the memory of Dr. Bob Gaines, a professor and chair emeritus of the Department of Mathematics and, later, vice provost for faculty affairs at CSU. It is awarded to undergraduate students interested in mathematics research.

  • Frank X. Gassner Scholastic Award

    The Frank X. Gassner Scholastic Award was created by Dr. Gassner's family and friends in his honor after 26 years of service at Colorado State, as both a professor of chemistry and professor of physiology. The award is presented to undergraduate students who excel in research in biochemistry and molecular biology.

  • Kurt Georg Memorial Scholarship

    Established by Anna Maria Georg and her children in memory of her husband, Kurt Georg, who was a numerical analyst and a leading exponent of numerical continuation methods.This scholarship provides financial support to undergraduate students excelling in mathematics and in community involvements.

  • Graybill/Boes Award

    The Boes Award was established to honor Professor and Chair Emeritus, Duane C. Boes, ans is awarded to outstanding graduate teaching assistants in the Department of Statistics. The Graybill award was created to honor Professor Emeritus, Franklin H. Graybill, and is awarded to oustanding students in linear models.

  • Gloria and Frank Grimaldi Memorial Scholarship

    The scholarship was established by Karen Hickman to honor her parents. This scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior psychology student.

  • ACS-Hach Land Grant Scholarship

    This scholarship was originally established by the Hach Scientific Foundation to provide scholarships to undergraduate students in the field of chemistry education at Colorado State University. This scholarship is administered by the American Chemical Society.

  • Clifford C. Hach Memorial Scholarship

    Established by Kathryn Hach-Darrow in memory of her husband, Clifford C. Hach, founder of the Hach Company. This scholarship provides financial support for exceptional undergraduates in the field of chemistry.

  • Harold David Harrington Graduate Fellowship

    Established by Edith Harrington in memory of her husband, who was a faculty member in the Department of Botany and Plant Pathology and curator of the CSU Herbarium, this fellowship provides support to graduate students working toward a degree in the field of plant evolutionary biology or a related field.

  • Professor Louis Hegedus Fellowship

    Established in honor of Dr. Louis Hegedus, University Distinguished Professor, John K. Stille Chair, and professor emeritus of organic chemistry at Colorado State, the fellowship benefits graduate students in organic chemistry.

  • Thomas J. Heidenfelder Scholarship

    Thomas J. Heidenfelder, a CSU graduate in computer science, established this scholarship in gratitude for the solid education he received and the life-long friendships he made while at CSU. The scholarship provides financial support to both undergraduate and graduate students majoring in computer science.

  • Eleanor Westfall Holmes Scholarship

    Established in memory of Eleanor Holmes, who graduated from CSU in 1946. This scholarship benefits students who plan on becoming science teachers.

  • Margaret House Irwin Memorial Scholarship

    This scholarship was established through the estate of Margaret House Irwin who was a 1923 CSU natural sciences graduate.Scholarships benefit undergraduate students in the College.

  • Bruno Klinger Memorial

    Created in memory of Professor Klinger by his family and friends, the scholarship provides support to undergraduate students demonstrating academic achievement in biology with an emphasis in botany.

  • Preecha Kownin Memorial Award

    This award was established in memory of Dr. Preecha Kownin and his tireless devotion to research. The award benefits graduate students in biochemistry and molecular biology who have passed their advancement to candidacy examination for the Ph.D degree.

  • Lamb-Donar Undergraduate Scholarship

    Established by Mr. David and Dr. Edna Donar to provide undergraduate scholarships to junior or senior students enrolled in the College of Natural Sciences. Dr. Edna Donar is a graduate of the College of Natural Sciences in the Department of Chemistry. David Donar received a Master's of Science in computer science from Arizona State University.

  • Legacy of the Wishing Chair-Stout/Baird Memorial Scholarship

    This scholarship was established by family and friends of Carol Lynn Baird, and will benefit students studying behavioral neuroscience and/or cognitive psychology.

  • Luckasen Scholarship

    The scholarship was established by Grace Luckasen and family, who have been long-time supporters of CSU. This scholarship assists academically excelling students toward obtaining their mathematics degrees.

  • Myron Brown Ludlow Scholarship

    This scholarship was created through the estate of Olive B. Ludlow in memory of Myron Brown Ludlow. It provides scholarships each year for each college at Colorado State University.

  • Gary E. Maciel Fellowship/Scholarship

    This fellowship was established by Mrs. Robert Nissen-Haugh to honor her family's long-standing involvement in science and education and to recognize the contributions of Professor Emeritus of chemistry, Dr. Gary Maciel. Recipients demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and promise in chemical research. Jay and Susan Dunton are family members. Maxine is Dr. Maciel's widow, and Jennifer is his daughter.

  • James L., M. Leslie, Edna Madison, and Marjorie Pietsch Memorial Award

    The James L., M. Leslie, Edna Madison, and Marjorie Pietsch Memorial Award was established by Marjorie Pietsch in memory of her brother, James L. Madison, a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, and their parents, M. Leslie and Edna Madison.

  • Magnus Scholarship

    Established by Mathematics Department friends and faculty in memory of Arne Magnus. Dr. Magnus was a professor in the Mathematics Department at CSU for 25 years.

  • Alok Mehta 9-11 Scholarship

    The Alok Mehta 9-11 Scholarship was created by Dr. Gopal and Mrs. Sneh Mehta in honor of the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. Their son, Alok, was working as an intern for Cantor Fitzgerald in the First Tower at the World Trade Center and has been missing since that date. The scholarship provides support to undergraduate students majoring in biochemistry and molecular biology.

  • Professor Albert I. and Joan Meyers Memorial Family Fellowship

    This fellowship was created by the Meyers family in honor of Dr. Albert I. and Joan Meyers. The growth in size and prestige of the chemistry department at CSU, the organic division in particular, can be directly attributed to Dr. Meyers' reputation and efforts. Professor Meyers' numerous achievements and contributions to organic chemistry have been recognized with over 75 national and international awards and honors.

  • Patricia R. Mohilner Memorial Scholarship in Computer Sciences

    The Patricia R. Mohilner Scholarship in computer science is awarded to outstanding juniors in computer science for use in the student's senior year.

  • Native Students in Science Scholarship

    This scholarship was created by the estate of Katharine Douglass to support women of native ancestry studying in the sciences at Colorado State University.

  • Natural Sciences Undergraduate Fellowship

    This fellowship is supported by alumni and friends of the College and benefits undergraduates conducting research.

  • Dr. Eugene Oetting Fellowship

    The fellowship honors Dr. Eugene Oetting, professor emeritus of psychology and scientific director of the Tri-Ethnic Center for Prevention Research at Colorado State University. This award will provide financial support for graduate students who are pursuing a Ph.D. in psychology and demonstrate an interest in doing their doctoral research in substance use, ethnic minority issues, and/or general prevention research.

  • Dr. Arne K. Peitersen Memorial Scholarship

    This scholarship is given annually to an outstanding sophomore majoring in biological sciences.

  • Dr. Harry Puleston Memorial Scholarship

    This scholarship was created in honor of Dr. Harry Puleston and is awarded to undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior students majoring in chemistry.

  • Anita Read Graduate Award

    The award was established to honor Anita Read's lifelong dedication to teaching and in appreciation for the time and effort she put into the computer science department at CSU.

  • Edward and Phyllis Reed Fellowship

    The Edward and Phyllis Reed Fellowship was established by Dr. and Mrs. Edward Reed to reflect Dr. Reed's lifetime dedication to invertebrate research and his and Mrs. Reed's hope to aid a student with the same interest and dedication.

  • Elmer Remmenga Scholarship in Applied Statistics

    The Elmer Remmenga Scholarship honors the past contributions of Professor Emeritus, Elmer Remmenga, to the Statistics Department and to the applications of statistics. This scholarship will benefit graduate students who are in good academic standing and demonstrate financial need.

  • Calvin A. Rogers Memorial Award

    This award recognizes exceptional interest in the teaching mathematics for a graduate student in math or statistics.

  • Delano F. Scott Scholarship

    This scholarship was established to annually provide scholarships for each college at CSU. Delano Scott, a 1902 graduate, created this endowment through his estate.

  • R. Lee and Rebecca Seward Scholarship

    Lee and Rebecca Seward feel that their lives have been significantly enhanced by the college educations they received (Rebecca at the University of Arkansas and Lee at CSU). They understand that without public and private support, their educational opportunities would have been severely limited. The R. Lee and Rebecca Seward Scholarship provides financial support to undergraduate students enrolled in the physical sciences.

  • James Sites & Elaine Regelson Undergraduate Research Scholarship in Physics

    The endowment, made by Ms. Elaine Regelson, computer science's director of mentoring and retention, and her husband, Dr. Jim Sites, physics professor and senior associate dean for research in the College of Natural Sciences, provides undergraduate research scholarship support to motivated students who are performing research while working on their undergraduate degree in physics.

  • Cornell Stanhope Scholarship Fund

    This scholarship, awarded to a first-year chemistry major, is representative of Professor Stanhope's lifelong dedication to chemistry.

  • Dr. Frank Vattano Psychology Undergraduate Scholarship

    The scholarship was established in honor of Dr. Vattano, a professor emeritus of psychology at CSU who has been teaching and exploring innovative multimedia instructional methods for over 40 years. The scholarship benefits undergraduate psychology students.

  • Dr. A. Wayne Viney Psychology Undergraduate Scholarship

    This scholarship honors Dr. Wayne Viney, a professor emeritus of psychology at CSU, who has a long and distinguished history of teaching and service to the University. This scholarship provides financial support to psychology undergraduate students.

  • Louis and Gladys Weber Scholarship

    This scholarship honors the memory of Dr. Louis Weber, a physics teacher, and his wife Gladys. This scholarship benefits undergraduate physics students.

  • G. H. Whiteford Scholarship

    A privately funded scholarship awarded to a junior or senior chemistry student who is planning on a teaching career.

  • James S. Williams Scholarship

    This scholarship was created by the statistics department, family, and friends to honor Dr. James S. Williams who was a statistics professor for 25 years at CSU. This scholarship provides scholarship support for incoming statistics graduate students who have demonstrated past and potential outstanding academic achievement.

  • Dale R. Winder Research Fellowship

    The fellowship honors Dr. Dale Winder's many contributions to the Physics Department throughout his career at CSU. It is awarded to a junior or senior undergraduate or graduate student conducting research who intends to present at a professional meeting.

  • Walter C. Wittich Memorial Scholarship

    Established by Rita Stout in memory of her brother, this scholarship provides financial support to graduate students studying counseling psychology.

  • Mauricio X. Zuber Memorial Award

    This award honors Dr. Zuber, who was an assistant professor in biochemistry and molecular biology and had a passion for learning. The award is presented to a first year graduate student in biochemistry and molecular biology.

  • Mike and Mary Logan Undergraduate Scholarship

    Established by CSU alumni, Michael and Mary Logan, this scholarship benefits outstanding undergraduate students in the College of Natural Sciences.

  • Charlotte and Gordon Myers Undergraduate Scholarship in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

    Established through the generosity of Charlotte and Gordon Myers, this award supports full-time undergraduate students in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Recipients must demonstrate financial need and have at least a 3.0 GPA.

  • John and Mary Raich Scholarship

    This scholarship was established by Dr. John Raich, dean emeritus, and his wife, Mary Raich, to support full-time undergraduate students in the College of Natural Sciences.

  • Premedica Scholarship

    This scholarship was established by alumni and friends of the College to provide support for outstanding students who plan to pursue either a Medical Doctoral (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy degree (D.O.).

  • Charles and Martha Neidt Graduate Award in Psychology

    Established in honor of Dr. Charles and Martha Neidt to provide support for graduate students in the Industrial/Organizational Psychology Program; this award will be presented to psychology graduate students.

  • Will Szlemko Memorial Fellowship

    Through a generous donation from Dr. Paul Bell and his wife, Patti, the Will Szlemko Memorial Fellowship was established. The award honors the memory of Will Szlemko, who received his Ph.D. in applied social psychology from Colorado State in 2008, under the mentoring of Professor Paul Bell. His life ended in a tragic lightning strike in the Sherwood Forest area of the CSU campus on July 24, 2008, two days after he had successfully defended his dissertation.

  • Dale and Marion Eriksen Scholarship

    This scholarship was established by Mr. Dale Eriksen to support undergraduate students in the basic sciences at CSU.

  • R. G. Gustavson Memorial Award

    This award was established to honor Dr. Reuben G. Gustavson for his abilities as a teacher and his involvement and genuine concern for his students.

  • Evolutionary Computation and Artificial Intelligence Graduate Fellowship

    This fellowship was established by the Department of Computer Science to provide awards to graduate students.

    This fund was established by family and friends in honor of Frank DeMeyer's service to the University and the College of Natural Sciences. This scholarship/fellowship will benefit graduate students in mathematics at CSU by providing funds for professional development.

  • Industrial Organizational Psychology Graduate Fellowship

    This fund was established by the psychology department to support industrial organizational psychology graduate students.

  • Dr. Laurie F. Michaels Counseling Scholarship in Psychology

    This scholarship was created by Dr. Laurie F. Michaels to support graduate students in the counseling program within the psychology department.

  • Stavros Family Fund

    The Stavros Family fund was created by Nick and Fiona Stavros and provides support to CSU biology students studying native plants.

  • Always Remember Never Surrender Scholarship

    This scholarship provides undergraduate scholarships to benefit junior or senior students majoring in Psychology who have an aspiration to pursue a postgraduate education and interest in studying mental health issues including prevention of suicide.

  • Students First Scholarship

    This scholarship is awarded to a full-time, undergraduate student, in any major, who has demonstrated financial need, good academic standing, and active participation in campus and/or community service organizations.

  • Donovan B. and Sally S. Hicks Scholarship in Physics

    Alumnus Donovan Hicks and his wife, Sally, established this scholarship to benefit undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Physics in the College of Natural Sciences.

  • Liz and Jack McGrew Scholarship

    This scholarship was established by Liz and Jack McGrew to benefit undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Natural Sciences at CSU who are majoring in Zoology.

  • Biochemistry Undergraduate Research Fellowship

    Established by the department with gifts from alumni and friends to support undergraduate biochemistry students with a GPA of 3.3 or greater.

  • Robert R. Cooper Scholarship

    Created by Robert R. Cooper to support mathematics or physics students. Preference is for Colorado residents.

  • Michael S. and Kathleen A. Swanson Scholarship

    Established by alumnus Dr. Mike Swanson and his wife Kathy to benefit chemistry majors and/or students with an interest in pursuing a career in medicine.

  • David E. Schump Memorial Scholarship

    This fund was established in memory of David Schump for the purpose of providing scholarships to benefit undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Natural Sciences. This scholarship honors his belief in the value of the rigorous study of natural sciences as among the most durable avenues of preparation for a broad range of careers.

  • Jerry L. Deffenbacher Scholarship in Psychology

    This scholarship honors Professor Emeritus, Jerry Deffenbacher, and his 35 years of service at CSU. During his time on campus, he received numerous awards and recognitions including College of Natural Sciences professor laureate. In is career, he advised over 30 doctoral students and an equal number of undergraduate theses.

  • Sean William McGowan Scholarship in Psychology

    This scholarship was established in memory of Sean McGowan (freshman class of 2011) by his family. Sean had a special interest in the treatment of depression, attention deficit disorder, anxiety,and other psychological problems using behavior therapy rather than pharmaceutical drugs. He also had a strong interest in addictions that affect our society today. Through the creation of this scholarship, Sean is remembered for his unselfish giving to others of his time and talents.

  • College of Natural Sciences Aspen Scholarship

    Like the aspen tree, this scholarship acts as the seed to create a long-lived broad base of financial support to help many students grow into their chosen discipline within the College of Natural Sciences. This scholarship is funded by alumnus Thomas J. Heidenfelder and his wife, Randy S. Heidenfelder.

  • Frances E. Allen Scholarship in Computer Science

    Established by an anonymous donor in honor of Michelle Mills Strout, formerly in the Department of Computer Science at CSU. The scholarship is named for Frances Allen, the first woman to receive the Turing Award.

  • F. Max Stein and Myron S. Henry Scholarship

    Established by alumnus Myron S. Henry, Ph.D. and his wife MaryCarolan to honor Myron's doctoral adviser, F. Max Stein.

  • Dr. Bruce D. and Mrs. Karla S. Given Scholarship

    Created by CNS alumnus, Bruce Given and his wife, Karla, to support students enrolled in the College of Natural Sciences.

  • Dr. Robert A. Liebler Scholarship in Mathematics

    Established in memory of Dr. Robert A. Liebler, professor emeritus, by his spouse, Linda S. Hamilton, to provide scholarships to undergraduate students majoring in mathematics.

  • Patricia A. Yingst Scholarship

    Patricia A. Yingst, applied chemistry, 1958, has established this fund in memory of her parents whose support and encouragement made possible not only college, but also a journey of self-discovery through the cultures of Europe. The scholarship benefits undergraduate students in the College of Natural Sciences who seek to promote multicultural cooperation, respect, and understanding and/or to apply their studies to cooperative projects between and among different cultures.

  • Professor Leslie DiVerdi Scholarship

    This scholarship was established in honor of Dr. Leslie DiVerdi, a professor of chemistry at Colorado State University from 1989 to 2009. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships to benefit undergraduate students majoring in chemistry.

    Created by CSU alumni Sharon and David Kabes to provide support to outstanding graduate students in the Department of Biology.

  • Genny and Warren Garst Scholarship

    This scholarship was established by the late Warren Garst in memory of his wife, Genny, to benefit undergraduate students in Computer Science, Zoology, and Mathematics. Genny taught computer programming at CSU and Warren was a long time photographer with Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. This scholarship is recognized as part of the philanthropic endeavors of the CSU Women's Association.

  • Roger Guertner Memorial Scholarship

    This scholarship is established in memory of Roger Guertner by parents, Delbert and Marvel Guertner, as well as his sister, Roxie Strong, and other family and friends to provide scholarships to undergraduate students enrolled in the Mathematics Department.

  • Quarton Family Scholarship

    The Quarton family wishes to provide support for students pursuing majors that lead to interesting and profitable careers in Computer Science.

  • Stephen Thompson-Friedwald Family Scholarship

    Created by chemistry alumnus, Andrew Friedwald, to honor his former professor, Dr. Stephen Thompson. This scholarship benefits undergraduates in the College of Natural Sciences with a preference for first-generation students.

  • P. R. Mukherjee Award in Computer Science

    CSU professors, Drs. Indrakshi and Indrajit Ray, established this award as a tribute to Indrakshi’s father, Mr. P.R. Mukherjee, and his love of science. This scholarship honors one graduate student for their achievement in research during the previous year.

  • Mark P. Sweet Chemistry Scholarship

    This scholarship was established in memory of CSU alumnus, Dr. Mark Sweet, who received his Ph.D. from CSU. The purpose of this scholarship is to honor Mark's passion for science and to benefit students majoring in organic chemistry.

  • CNS Learning Community Scholarship

    This award was established to support students who have been accepted into the College of Natural Sciences Learning Community.

  • Hartshorn Family Scholarship

    The Hartshorn Family Scholarship was established by friends and family in memory of Denzel "Denny" Hartshorn, M.D. (1935-2014), who was a family man, gifted physician and surgeon, a rancher cowboy, and a proud CSU alumnus. The scholarship provides support to students interested in pursuing a career as a medical doctor or physician assistant.

  • Grit Scholarship in Computer Science

    Dr. Dale Grit was a faculty member of the computer science department for 38 years, and Lou Grit taught in the local school system for 34 years. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage undergraduate students to achieve success as computer science majors in the College of Natural Sciences.

  • Nancy E. Levinger Undergraduate Research Fellowship

  • George Splittgerber Scholarship in Chemistry

    Professor Splittgerber was a longtime emeritus faculty member who taught at CSU for 40 years. This scholarship was created by CSU alumnus Dr. Glenn Boutilier and his wife Donna to honor George’s enthusiasm for both teaching and learning as well as the invaluable mentorship he provided for countless chemistry students.

  • Computer Science Inclusion and Excellence Scholarship

    This fund was created to promote inclusion and excellence in the department by recruiting and retaining stellar underrepresented students in computer science.

  • Jamie Carr Memorial Scholarship

    This scholarship was established in memory of Jamie Carr, who attended Colorado State University on a full scholarship as a McNair scholar and earned her B.S. in Biochemistry with an emphasis in Chemistry. The goal of the Jamie Carr Memorial Scholarship is to assist and encourage young people who embody Jamie's spirit, style, and intelligence. The recipient will be a full-time undergraduate student majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

  • Wim Bohm and Partners Ph.D. Award

    This award was established by Department of Computer Science Professor Anton Willem Bohm and his former graduate students. The goal of this fund is to support computer science Ph.D. students in their final year of study, so that they can fully concentrate on their research.

  • Robert B. France Fellowship in Computer Science

    This fund was established by gifts given in memory of Professor Robert France, a CNS professor laureate and beloved member of the Computer Science Department. This fellowship supports Computer Science graduate students engaging in research.

  • James R. zumBrunnen Statistical Collaboration Award

    This award was established in appreciation of the more than 40 years of statistical consulting and collaboration provided to CSU faculty and graduate students by statistics students working with Jim zumBrunnen, who was associate director of the Franklin A. Graybill Statistical Laboratory. The award recognizes an outstanding student who has made significant contribution through collaboration with Colorado State University researchers.

  • Martha Ann Henson Memorial Scholarship

    This scholarship was created by alumnus Tim Henson to honor the memory of his wife, Martha "Ann" Henson, her passion and contributions to Botany, and their experiences together at CSU. It provides scholarships to undergraduates in Biology with a preference for students concentrating in Botany.

  • Edward D. and Judith I. Elgethun Scholarship in Mathematics

    CSU alumnus, Dr. Edward Elgethun, and his wife, Judith, established this fund to honor Dr. Elgethun’s experience at CSU and their strong belief in the value of higher education, and to support successive generations of students majoring in mathematics.

  • Justus and Hedwig Wilhelm Scholarship in Natural Sciences

    Established by CSU alumni Irene and Gary Wickham, this scholarship honors the memory of Irene’s parents, Justus and Hedwig Wilhelm. Justus and Hedwig worked hard to ensure that their daughters received a college education. Similarly, Irene and Gary would like to support traditionally underrepresented students in the sciences, especially women, who also experience financial hardship.

    Established by CSU professor of Mathematics and University Distinguished Teaching Scholar, Dr. Paul Kennedy, and his wife, Mrs. Rebecca Kennedy, this scholarship provides undergraduate scholarships to benefit outstanding students majoring in mathematics at CSU.

  • Denise Rutherford and Maurice Kuypers Undergraduate Scholarship in Chemistry

    This scholarship was established by CSU alumna Denise Rutherford and her husband Maurice Kuypers. Denise is a first generation Chemistry Ph.D. who gained a strong education and the foundation for life-long learning at CSU. Similarly, this scholarship supports first generation students majoring in Chemistry.

  • Michael Smith Scholars in Natural Sciences

    This scholarship was created by former chemistry student and CEO of Freeport LNG Development LP, Michael Smith, to benefit incoming undergraduate students majoring in Chemistry. Designed to encourage students towards meaningful and rewarding careers in the sciences, recipients are selected across a range of diverse backgrounds, demonstrate intellectual curiosity, and show strong leadership skills.

  • Betsy Starr Bruning Scholarship

    Betsy Starr Bruning is a biochemistry and molecular biology graduate from the University of Colorado. She established this scholarship at CSU to encourage undergraduate students, particularly women, to explore meaningful careers in the sciences.

  • Larry and Carol Page Undergraduate Scholarship

    Established by CSU physics alumnus Larry Page and his wife, Carol, this scholarship benefits first generation undergraduate students from Colorado majoring in Physics.

  • Harmonious Software Scholarship

    This scholarship was established by CSU alumnus Fred Pittroff and his wife Rosemary to support undergraduates in Computer Science pursuing a concentration in computing education or human-centered computing.

  • Jo Ann Marchand Scholarship in Biology

    This scholarship was established by CSU alumna, Jo Ann Marchand, to benefit undergraduate students in biology. Raised in the beauty of rural Colorado, Jo Ann would like to help create meaningful opportunities for students who share her love of conservation.

  • College of Natural Sciences Military Scholarship

    This scholarship was created by Mr. Carroll and Mrs. Carol Pedigo to benefit students in the natural sciences who are veterans. This is the first scholarship of its kind in the College of Natural Sciences.

This fund provides scholarships for graduate students pursuing a degree in chemistry with a concentration in analytical chemistry within the College of Natural Sciences at Colorado State University.

    This fellowship was established by alumnus Dr. Thomas A. Jones to support graduate students in the College of Natural Sciences who are developing quantitative tools to advance research in applied interdisciplinary areas.

    This fellowship was established by alumna Dr. Kathleen Juneau to provide fellowships for graduate students pursuing research in the Chemistry department. The fellowship gives preference to non-traditional students who participate in the WINS program and have a research focus in organic chemistry.
